Three intensive days at the trade fair, numerous inspiring conversations, and strong international interest in sustainable environmental technologies: IE expo China 2026 in Shanghai was a great success for us.

When the industry gathers in Kassel, the focus is no longer just on technology. The emphasis is on solutions that work worldwide under a wide variety of real-world conditions.

We’ll be there again in 2026, with a clear focus on our international activities.

With the completion of cold commissioning in December 2025, we have reached an important milestone in the Tafalla Project. The plant in Navarra has undergone a full technical inspection and is ready for the next step.

In June 2025, our plant successfully went into operation for a food producer in Qatar. This marked another step toward returning organic residues directly on-site to the agricultural cycle.

Stronger Together at the German Pavilion

In 2025, UTV AG will once again be part of one of the most important international events in environmental technology: IE expo China, taking place from April 21–23, 2025, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

From April 8 to 10, 2025, the industry will meet again in Kassel - at the Waste and Resources Forum, which is considered one of the most important meeting places for experts from the waste management, recycling, agriculture and environmental technology sectors.

UTV at the Waste Expo Brasil – From October 22nd to 24th, 2024, São Paulo transformed into the epicenter of waste management and sustainable energy as it hosted the largest trade fair in Latin America, the Waste Expo Brazil.

March 2024 - Our new composting plant was built at Nutrofertil in Santiago de Besteiros. This plant is designed to efficiently compost around 8,500 tons of horse manure, chicken manure and green waste every year.

We were at the 35th Kassel Waste and Resources Forum 2024. After last year's successful participation in the congress trade fair, you could meet us again this year at the Kongress Palais in Kassel from 9 to 11 April 2024.

Around the world – Welcome to IE expo China 2024! The 25th edition of IE expo China will take place in Shanghai from 18 to 20 April 2024 – and we will be there!

From 13 May to 17 May 2024, we will be exhibiting at IFAT in Munich, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw material management.

Hot temperatures and composting – just right for the UTV system.

We visit the site to get an idea of the local conditions and the prevailing climate to identify the project requirements. Based on this, we develop a customized plant concept so that the plant can develop its high efficiency in the subsequent production process.
