With the successful installation of the new composting facility in Novska, Croatia, the project for our partner Terral has entered its next phase. Immediately after construction was completed, the system underwent cold commissioning, during which all plant components were tested to ensure that they work together correctly.
The facility is designed for an annual capacity of up to 10,000 tonnes and will process green waste and poultry manure into high-quality compost.
Following installation, the focus shifted to the technical processes. During cold commissioning, the control and process sequences were tested, settings were optimised, and the necessary conditions for safe operation were established.
Regular operation of the facility, including the UTV System, is scheduled to begin in August or September 2026.
Working Together for Sustainable Recycling
The new facility in Novska provides a modern solution for the regional recycling of organic residual materials. In future, green waste and poultry manure will be processed together and returned to the material cycle in the form of high-quality compost.
