Region of Peel decided to use our technology in its own plant in 2008. It is located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and consists of the cities of Brampton and Mississauga and the town of Caledon. Peel is already home to 200,000 businesses and over 1.5 million residents and is growing by almost 50 new residents every day. Since the commissioning of our UTV composting facility in 2008, it has been processing an extraordinary 60,000 tonnes of biowaste per year across 24 windrows.
