Windrow coverage – technically up to date & easy to handle.
LACSD – that stands for Los Angeles County Sanitation District. And it stands for a real showcase project: a multi-year construction project in California and our largest project to date: 72 windrows with a total capacity of 200,000 tonnes per year have been completed, the control technology installed and two PWM 13 mobile wrapping machines are ready for use. 6,768 meters of aeration channels have been laid, 72 radial fans and 72 distribution cabinets installed. The total area of the first construction phase is an impressive 65,800 m². Quality and logistics made in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. A project of superlatives: 1,000,000 tonnes of sewage sludge and green waste have been processed into high-quality compost since the end of the last construction phase in 2014.
