Märkische Entsorgungsanlagen-Betriebsgesellschaft (MEAB) operates a hazardous waste incineration plant in Schöneiche. Since 2008, they have been using our Mechanical-Biological Treatment (MBT) process to reduce the amount of municipal waste sent to landfill by up to 70%. With an extraordinary capacity of 75,000 tonnes per year and 20 windrows, the residual waste is treated.
