Our modern Chitinas composting plant in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius composts biowaste. Since it was commissioned in 2004, around 1,000 tonnes of green waste and biowaste have been processed into the best compost every year. In just 6 weeks, the green waste is shredded, mixed and then rotted under the GORE® Cover to produce high-quality green compost.
